Seeking candidates with previous exposure to the insurance industry at an entry level. This would be an ideal step up in compliance to join a newly formed compliance division in an established Lloyd’s Insurer.

  • To assist the head of Compliance in ensuring the company has robust systems and a controls framework in place to facilitate compliance with all relevant internal and external regulatory requirements, rules, standards and laws
  • Assisting in the completion of regulatory returns and timetables
  • Assisting in the oversight of the conduct oversight framework
  • Act as the first point of contact for compliance queries, providing advice and support
  • Responsible for the production of regular and ad hoc compliance reports and MI as required
  • Assist with all aspects of the preparation and delivery of the Compliance Monitoring Plan

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of solid compliance experience
  • Good knowledge of the Lloyd’s and UK regulatory regime and agenda
  • Experience in a Lloyd’s managing agent is preferable
  • Working towards CII exams or equivalent an advantage
  • Good IT skills, especially with Excel and Powerpoint
