A well-established Lloyd’s Insurer are looking for an Assistant Corporate Accountant to join their growing team. The Assistant Corporate Accountant will directly report into the Corporate Controller and will be responsible for financial accounting, reporting and taxation support for the European Operations


Key Accountabilities:

  • Group reporting – Complete the required reporting for the group on a quarterly basis including variance analysis on expenses
  • Prepare and discuss quarterly expense variance analysis with budget holders
  • Complete a non-technical account analysis for Syndicate and the Corporate Member
  • Managing agent Executive reporting – Prepare the employee expenses report on a monthly basis for the Executive
  • Assist with the year-end accounts for the London entities
  • Syndicate Quarterly Reporting (QMA) – Complete the expenses, cash and investment forms for Syndicate
  • QF1/AF1 – Complete the quarterly and annual managing agent solvency return for Lloyd’s of London



  • Part Qualified Accountant
  • Proven experience in London market and Non London market
  • 3 years Accounting experience
